Our Services
Callus Removal
Callus are thickened and hard areas of skin which are generally not painful. Hard skin will be pared away safely using a scalpel to decrease the hard skin and if required padding will be applied to relieve the pressure. Treatment is finished with cream to keep your feet hydrated, nourished and moisturiesd.
Corn Removal
Corns are common feet conditions which occur from constant pressure on areas of the foot. You can have hard corns (usually located top, bottom or side of foot, soft corns (usually located between the toes and seeded corns (which are often on the heel or ball of the foot). Hard skin covering the foot will be pared away with a scalpel and the corn will be removed with safe use of a scalpel blade. If required padding will be applied to relieve the pressure and treatment is finished with cream to keep your feet hydrated, nourished and moisturiesd.
Thick Nail Reduction
Thickness of nails will be reduced down painlessly to help relieve pressure or to improve look. Your nails will be filed and shaped, finishing with cream to keep your feet hydrated, nourished and moisturiesd.
Fungal Nails
Can often persist without causing pain or discomfort. Infections can cause nails to become thickened, yellow/brown in colour and if it is left untreated it can spread to other nails. Treatment will be discussed and a foot care plan put in place, as treatment will depend on how it has affected the nail, how extensive it is and patients compliance.
Ingrown Nails
Treatment is based on removing the spike of nail that's causing the pain and irritation, whilst making sure there is no infection. After this nails will be filed and shaped finishing with foot cream to hydrate, nourish and moisturise.
Cracked Heels
Treatment involves debridement of heels using a scalpel to remove the hard skin. A rich moisturising cream will then be applied and advise given about hydration to prevent this from re occurring.
Verruca
A fairly common, harmless wart. However if left untreated it can spread and look unsightly. It is caused by the HPV virus, passed through human contact, often in moist, damp environments. Treatment can vary but it's topical and depends on patients compliance so a foot care plan will be created.
Nail Cutting and File
You don't need to have any of the other conditions to get a visit. For many reasons people cannot reach their feet so basic nail cut and file is also offered. The nails will be cut, filed and shaped before having cream applied to keep your feet hydrated, nourished and moisturised.
